LOCATION

Our rental houses are set in the midst of a 500-hectare (1200-acre) estate in the heart of Tuscany. It is a captivating place with loads of wildlife and various walking & hiking trails. Aside from our cows, pigs and poultry down at the farm you can expect to have nightly sightings of wild boars, crested porcupines, owls and deer. Located only 45 minutes from Pisa Galileo Airport and just over an hour from Florence Peretola Airport, the farm is in a strategic position for guests desiring to explore the close-by cities of Florence, Siena, Livorno, Lucca, and Pisa. Closer still are the charming hill towns of San Gimignano, Certaldo, Volterra and San Miniato. In under two hours, it is possible to reach the Alpi Apuane mountains, the WWF-protected beaches south of Livorno or thermal baths near Petriolo and Rapolano. The area has remained rural with many small producers of organic vegetables, livestock, cheeses and wines. Weekly markets honor the area's dedication to Slow Food and natural production.
